Garo provides the steady hand that guides GK Development, Inc.'s growth. Before forming GK Development, Inc., he was a Senior Vice President of Development at Homart, the real estate development arm for Sears Roebuck. At Homart, Garo managed the development of more than 2.2 million square feet of community shopping center space. Also an architect, Garo worked at the architectural firm of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, and in planning, architecture and construction at Montgomery Ward. Garo holds a degree in architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a masters in business management from Loyola University in Chicago.
